Hosting
This site is static pages hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare is also the domain registrar and runs the DNS. Serving a page means Cloudflare sees the request: the visitor’s IP address, browser, and the page asked for. That is true of every website with a host, and it is named here rather than left implied.
There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel and no cookie set by us.
The quote form
We ask for a name, contact details, the property address or area, and what work is wanted. It is used to answer the request and quote the work. It is not sold, not rented, not shared with any marketing service, and not used to contact anyone about anything they did not ask about.
A submission passes through a small function on Cloudflare and is queued there only in transit — the queued copy is deleted as soon as our own machine has written it down, with a short automatic expiry as a backstop. Cloudflare never holds it as a record.
IP addresses, said out loud
To stop the form being abused, submissions are rate-limited by IP address, which means an IP is briefly held and counted. It is used for nothing else. Most sites leave this unsaid; it is a use of data, so it is stated.
No form vendor
The form deliberately does not use a third-party form or email-capture service. The only company involved in carrying it is Cloudflare, which hosts this site and passes the submission through.
What this page does NOT claim
Stated plainly, so nothing here reads as a promise nobody made:

Deleting your request, and contacting us
Ask and your quote request will be deleted. The business phone line and email are being set up; until they are listed here, the quote form is the only channel, and a request sent through it asking for deletion will be honoured.
Retention period for quote requests is being set and will be stated here. It is not stated yet because it has not been decided, and a number invented for the look of it would be worse than this sentence.
